Windows 10: Video TDR Failure nvlddmkm.sys problem

Hi,I've been having intermittent issues during normal day to day use with no obvious trigger and would love some help confirming what the issue is.My PCI5-9600GTX 1070 2 x 4k monitors16GB ramGigabyte Z390 UD motherboardWindows 10Issue started in January seemingly out of nowhere, with random blue screen crashes with the same VIDEO TDR FAILURE error, sometimes 4 crashes in the space of 30 mins and then sometimes nothing for a few weeks. I'm not playing games or using any obviously graphics intensive processes when these crashes occur. Another quirk which started at the same time which may or

She probably needs to do a video driver update. Get her to go to the manufacturers website for her graphics card and update her graphics card drivers.

Blue Screen - Video TDR Failure

Hello

I have had 2 blue screen system failures this morning. Both of them with the message Video TDR Failure. The message advised me to contact support and quote igdkmd64.sys.

The system was installing Windows Updates at the time so that is my prime suspicion. The update that was successfully installed was Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) HD Graphics. It appears twice at the top of the list of updates for some reason.

Some of your suggestions are not for TDR problems, TDR problems are video related and things as sata/raid controller driver replacement have nothing to do with video related things.

The third thing is a personal opinion and may not be a solution for the OP, many will say that AMD sucks where many others will say that Nvidia sucks.
