    Video TDR Failure stuck on 0% blue screen and won't shut down manually.


    I was playing a game and it, well, crashed. This game has crashed my computer before, but never gave me a blue screen. I rebooted it and then booted it back up, only to find a blue screen. I looked up my error and was like "ok this is a common error i'll be fine", but I wasn't. It'd been about and hour and it's still stuck on 0%. So I go to press the power button on the PC. And well, it doesn't shut off. So I press it again. It press it again, etc. Repeat this for 5 minutes. I eventually give up. I got this computer for my birthday like a week ago and I really don't want my dad to yell at me. I don't know much about computers so I honestly don't know what to do. If someone could help that'd be nice.

    I keep getting a blue screen saying I have a Video TDR Failure and then it shuts my computer down, what can I do

    Blue Screen - Video TDR Failure

    Hello

    I have had 2 blue screen system failures this morning. Both of them with the message Video TDR Failure. The message advised me to contact support and quote igdkmd64.sys.

    The system was installing Windows Updates at the time so that is my prime suspicion. The update that was successfully installed was Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) HD Graphics. It appears twice at the top of the list of updates for some reason.
