Windows 10: view pictures from Nikon to desktop

Discus and support view pictures from Nikon to desktop in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; have a disk from my Nikon camera. How do I open it.     I will surely help you to fix this issue.

    This issue may occur if Nikon Picture Project software is corrupted.

    I suggest you to uninstall and re-install the Nikon Picture Project software. Check if it helps.

    To uninstall the software follow these steps:


    • Right-click on
      Start Button and click on Programs and Features.

    • Right-click on the
      Nikon Picture Project software and click on
      Uninstall.
    Note: Make sure you have the installation media for
    Nikon Picture Project software before uninstalling it.

    Now reinstall Nikon Picture Project software and check if it works.

    Thank you for the reply.

    Is the issue specific with a particular file format?

    I suggest you to try installing the Nikon Picture Project software in compatibility mode and check if it helps.



    To install the software in compatibility mode follow these steps:

    a. Right-click on the setup file of the
    software and select “Properties”.

    c. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    d. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and
    select latest Windows version from the drop down list.

    e. Let the software install and then check the functionality.



    If the issue persists, you may contact Nikon
    support and check if the software is compatible with Windows 10 or not.

    File Explorer and viewing pictures

    Hi,

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.


    • Open File Explorer.

    • Click on View Tab.

    • Select Detail panel.

    • Now if you click on any picture or file you will be able to see the information at the top right corner.
