    I use the best of course... Defender.

    If it wasn't so good, why in the world, does everyone compare to it.
    When I was young, and did weight training I would compare myself to Arnold and not Pee-Wee Herman*Biggrin

    Just Defender and Firewall. If you do regular system images nothing else is needed. I have to chuckle about the Ransomware attacks. Let them try. I do a Clonezilla image every few days in addition to having personal data backed up on external HDD. Takes less than 15 minutes to do a system image. No need to ever fear virus attacks.

    I agree. Backups are the first line of defense against any kind of malware (and the most important one). Nonetheless I use av software as a supplementary measure. Even though I could always restore my data after a successful attack on my pc it would still be unpleasant and I'd really like to avoid it if possible.

    Bitdefender Free has finally been updated, so I install that one on the computers.
    After trying out all the free AVs, this one seems to be the lightest one, thus far.
    Along with the inbuilt Kaspersky in the browser, it provides a nice protection.
