Viewing another computer that I know is correctly connected to my WiFi but is invisible

Both my laptop (this PC) and my MacBook Air are connected to my home WiFi. But neither is showing on the other one's network connections. Why not, and how do I rectify, please?

    :)

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?

OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

Windows10 and WiFi not connecting correctly

There may be an issue with the settings of the network on your computer that is why you're experiencing difficulties connecting to the Internet. Just to clarify, does the issue also occur when you use a wired connection? We suggest that you run the
Internet Connections troubleshooter to resolve the issue. To do this, follow these steps:

    • Access Control Panel.
    • Click Troubleshooting.
    • On the left pane, click View all.
    • Choose Internet Connections from the list.
    • On the troubleshooter window, click Advanced.
    • Make sure that the Apply repairs automatically check box is checked, and then click
      Run as administrator.
    • Click Next.
    • Follow the instructions of the troubleshooter.
    • Wait for the troubleshooter to finish running.
    • After running the troubleshooter, take note of the results and check if you can browse the web.

Kindly share with us the results.

Kick or Ban who is connected with my internet ?

You would have to do that on your Router's setup webpage. 1st step is to turn on WiFi encryption and password. 2nd step, if you feel you need to, is set up an access list of the physical MAC addresses for the network adapters of the computers you want to allow to connect. Any other network adapter not on that MAC filter list won't be able to connect. (but MAC addresses can be easily spoofed, if the third person knows which MAC addresses are allowed).
