Windows 10: Viewing videos and photos

Hi, I have never had a problem with viewing video clips or photos on my pc, until today! Most of the photos are .png or .jpeg and the video clips are .mov I took these on my iphone and transferred them on to my pc, but now half the photos won't open some of them were sent to me by other people but have the same .endings and the videos won't play. I am hesitant to do anything without your advice. What player should I have installed? I am using Windows 11. I also have Microsoft 365. I can't even find an appropriate place to post this, so would be grateful if someone could point me in th

Can I view all photos in one view

Hi Gary,

We'd like to ask few questions to know more about your concern. Kindly answer the following:

• Are you using the built-in Photos
  app to view your photos?
• What steps have you tried so far?

 

Can't get Youtube to show videos in Chrome

Load this checklist video in Edge:
(I'm assuming you did at least a few of these steps, since you stated you tried other suggestions earlier)

Go through the list of suggestions here to try to repair YouTube for Chrome...

Just to confirm, did you follow the suggestion of Shawn 'Cmdr' Keene [MVP] on this thread? If so, were you able to see all your photos?

We understand that you don't want to use the Photos app. However, that is another way to view all your photos. If you would like to try, please follow the steps below:

• Open the Photos app.
• Click on the ellipsis (See more).
• Select Settings.
• Under Sources, click on Add a folder.
• Add the folder where the pictures are saved in.

Note: Just add the main folder and all the photos saved in the subfolders should show up.
