Windows 10: viotek moniter

    Merry Christmas. My Santa hubby got me a gaming computer with viotek curved monitor for Christmas and i cant get the sound audio to work. ive done all updates. updated sound drivers trouble shooting the whole way. im connected via HDMI. i also had to activate my windows, which ive never had to do must be something new is there anything else i need to try? its an ibuypower gaming computer. i dont know if you need anything else as im not very tech savy.

    Moniter power up but fails to show anything.

    Windows 10 version 1909.

    I just installed a new to me graphics card in my wifes desktop but the moniter shows a blue screen, a message saying HDMI no signal and then goes black. I changed the cable back to the on board graphics but it does the same thing. Everything was OK before I made he card change. Suggestions please, the wife is NOT happy with me at the moment.
