I had a zip file full of malwares. I was scanning my computer with windows defender and found a bunch of malware, so I clicked on take action and defender stuck on "feel free to work while we take action", after waiting for a long time, I closed the defender and tried to shift + delete the zip file myself but to my surprise it was not deleting, the graph that pops up while deleting something also got stuck at 0 progress. But after repeatedly clicking on take action, after sometime that zip file was deleted successfully. Now the problem that I am facing is that windows defendee is showing "VirTool:Win32/Obfuscator.UO" and even after taking action againaagainst this threat it doesnt seem to give up. What can I do ? please help. Also what things should I do so that someone doesnt remotely access my computer ?

    :)

If you are not using Windows Defender did you seek advice from your antivirus provider (AVG, Kaspersky, McAfee, Norton, etc)?

As you can see the Safety Scanner should have resolved the issue.

Where was the file found? Can you send a copy of the file to VirusTotal for analysis?

    Virtools player stop working

    Hi,

There are various reasons why you are unable to play a game on your PC. It is possible that some of the game installation files got corrupted or there is a software conflict between the game that you are trying to play and some of the apps installed on your
PC. To better assist you with your concern, please clarify the following information:

    • What is the title of the game that you are trying to play?
    • Did the issue start after an update?
    • Are you using the Virtool Player to play the game?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far to resolve the issue?

In the meantime, we recommend that you run the troubleshooter for Windows Apps on your computer by clicking the
Run troubleshooter button on this link.
