Windows 10: Virtual Desktop Shortcuts not working?

I have a HP ProBook x360 11 G1 EE, running Windows 10 version 10.0.18363 Build 18363. I use the virtual desktop shortcuts a lot. Recently, they all just stopped working. I can't create a virtual desktop, I can't quickly access Task View, I can't switch between them with ctrl + win + right/left. All the keys work individually, they just don't work with those specific shortcuts. I am on a school laptop, so the organization may have disabled them, however the Task View button is still available on the taskbar.

1 - virtual desktop

these will be saved when shutting down ?

2 - program shortcuts and file shortcuts

on my main desktop I have a lot of shortcut for programs and files

is there a way to move shortcuts and how for program or files to another virtual desktop?

Hi Mik-Dav,

The desktop shortcut created for a specific website should bear the website's actual logo. With what you've experienced, there could be something wrong with how the shortcut was created.

If you've created the shortcut by selecting Create shortcut, then we suggest that you try the other way, that is by dragging the website icon that appears in the address bar to your desktop. Follow these steps:

• Using Internet Explorer, access a website.
• Once the website opens, you will see its icon in the address bar.
• Click and drag the icon on your desktop.

The website shortcut bearing its actual logo should now be saved on your desktop.

Virtual desktop shortcut, not working

I recently upgraded to Win10, and make extensive use of the virtual desktops. However I have problem with the shortcuts.

When I try the shortcut for "switch to the deskptop to the right" -> "Ctrl + windows + right_arrow", it does not work - unless I use the Ctrl button to the most right on my keyboard. See: imgur.com

(The red one does not work, but the blue one does).

However it does work, if I use a USB connect keyboard. Further, and the is the strange part, is work flawless when I try switching left - no matter which "Ctrl" button I use.

Ideas?
