Windows 10: Virtual keyboard popping up in lock screen, help

    Virtual keyboard popping up in lock screen, help


    I read that this can be caused by a digital art tablet's drivers, I plugged in my tablet (wacom bamboo) before I restarted my laptop and noticed this happen so it might be plausible, i hope thats just the case but this has never happened before in the few times I've plugged in my tablet. I'm really paranoid about viruses, I've been downloading a few pictures of an anime I'm a fan of before this. I made sure to visit safe sites like pinterest, tumblr and ones that look clean and not sketchy but I can never really know if I'm okay;; I've ran 3 anti-virus softwares and it came up with nothing. Still scared though. Hope I'm safe and its just a bug that can be fixed and im just being anxious for nothing.

    Touch keyboard pops up at login

    Hi Mon,

    The on-screen keyboard pops up on the login screen if the Use On-Screen Keyboard
    option is enabled. For us to disable this option, please follow these steps:

    • Click on Start.
    • Type Ease of Access Center, and then press Enter.
    • Click on the Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard link.
    • Under Type using a pointing device option, uncheck the
      Use On-Screen Keyboard       box.

    Let us know if the steps above helped you to resolve your concern.

    On-Screen Keyboard keeps popping up


    I am trying to disable the on-screen keyboard, but it continually pops up, when I lock the computer and log back in, and when various windows are opened. It's disabled in the Ease of Access Center, and I don't know what else to do.
    I'm running on Windows 10 Pro, I upgraded from Windows 7 last night.

    Could anyone offer any help?

    We still can't confirm what could be the possible cause of this virtual keyboard pop-up during start-up issue. For us to assist and understand it better, kindly answer the following questions:

    • When did you start experiencing this issue?
    • Have you made any recent changes to your computer prior to the issue?
    • Have you also tried performing the suggestions on how to disable it as posted by Crista_745 in this
      thread? If you still haven't, you may give that a try and see if it makes
      any difference.
