Windows 10: Virtual Machines running slow with audio stutters.

Hello, I have Virtual Machines and they have been running really slow with audio stutters. I have tried both VMware and Virtual Box but the problem still persists. I do have SVM Enable mode on enabled in the UEFI Bios and I have done things like disable Hyper-V which didn't make a difference. I have pretty powerful hardware too so I know it isn't a hardware limitation. The VMs have plenty of ram and CPU cores too.Specs:Ryzen 7 7800X3DRTX 4070 TIand 32GB of DDR5 6000mhz.

Horrid stuttering with a Virtual Machine

I am using Ubuntu and VirtualBox and making a virtual machine with windows 10. When watching a video the audio was horrid. It sounded like it was stuttering and slowed down. So i checked with playing a video on another device the other device started to to pull ahead. So I have no clue what's causing this, but it seems as though my processor is somehow stuttering. I have no clue what's happening since I'm really new to this whole virtual machine stuff so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i have new samsung galaxy book 2 pro and I have installed a vm ware. I keep getting the error of SRW detected you are running in a virtual machine. Can someone help me ? IT from work has worked on this all week and as well as myself. Going through all the steps listed for virtual machine error . Installing uninstalling removing anit-virus software with no fix. I would appreciate any suggestions

 

Audio stuttering after wake

Knowing that you have problems with your audio after waking up from sleep, you can try the following suggestions:



1. Check for Hardware Conflicts:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Expand the “System devices” category.
  
• Look for any devices with yellow exclamation marks or error messages.
  
• If you find any conflicts, try disabling or uninstalling the conflicting devices.
  

2. Test with External Audio Device:

• Connect an external audio device, such as headphones or speakers, to the computer.
  
• If the audio stuttering persists, it suggests a problem with the Realtek audio device or its drivers.
  

3. Disable Audio Enhancements:

• Go to Control Panel > Sound.
  
• Select the Realtek audio device as the playback device.
  
• Click on the “Properties” button.
  
• Go to the “Enhancements” tab.
  
• Uncheck all the enhancement options.
  

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Gigabyte support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or replace the audio device if necessary.
