Windows 10: Virtual memory problem

Hi, so yesterday i have some issues with my virtual memory , while watching a movie I've got a low memory error that stopped the film but disappear when i refresh my web page , and when playing battlefront 2 ( only if i changed render resolution from 100% to 150%)
it's not my physical memory because i was at 10gb/15,9gb but my virtual memory that goes at 19gb/18,8gb

So i have 16gb ram and my paging file is set at 2,9Gb

is that all ok or paging file is low ?

because i thinks i don't get the difference between all the memory physical/virtual and paging file thing

from what i've learn i have 15,9gb ram and 2,9gb in paging file, so the virtual memory is my physical + paging file (which mean i only have 2,9go virtual ) ?

or is it separated : i have 15,9 in physical , 15,9 in virtual + 2,9go for paging added in virtual ( and if yes why it is added in virtual memory ?) for a total of ~34go ram ?

If someone can explain to me what is paging file , and virtual memory ( how windows set it and if i need to change it ) it would be helpful

increasing virtual memory/Windows not activated

• Are you getting that your Windows is not activated and is your Windows activated?
• Are you not able to get into Settings in Windows?
• Are you trying to increase the virtual memory?
• Are you getting any error message or code regarding the memory issues?

Re locate Virtual Memory

Hi Abdul,

I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it helps: for
Re-locate the location of Virtual Memory.

• Press Windows +X, select System
• Click on Advanced system settings,
• On the Advanced tab, under
  Performance, click Settings.
• Click the Advanced tab, and then, under
  Virtual memory, click Change.
• Clear the automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box.
• Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.
• Click Custom size, type a new size in megabytes in the
  Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, click
  Set, and then click OK.

Additional information applies to 10 as well.
