    What values should I keep in my virtual memory in initial size as well as maximum size on Windows 10 for gaming ? I have 8GB of RAM.

    Virtual Memory is low.

    Steps to Increase Virtual Memory in Windows 10.

    Step 1: Go to Start Menu and click on Settings.

    Step 2: Now type performance on search bar and select Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.

    Step 3: A new Window will open before you. Go to Advanced tab in it.

    Step 4: You’ll see a Virtual memory section in it. Click on Change.

    Step 5: If the current setting is considerably less than the recommended, unselect the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives box on this window and click on Custom size.

    Step 6: Now enter the recommended value in the Initial Size box, and a larger figure in the Maximum size

    Step 7: Click on OK to save the changes.

    How to properly set up the virtual memory values?

    Hi to all,

    I would like to know how to properly set up the values for the virtual memory ?

    My Win 10 OS is installed on a SSD,and my games are installed on a HDD!

    And my RAM is 16 GB!

    Please tell me how to set up the values for the virtual memory and for which drive!

    No, it should not.

    When you increase your virtual memory, you are increasing the amount of hard drive space
    that is available to be used as virtual memory. Your computer may not have actually used all that space, and probably didn't.
