Windows 10: VirtualBox uninstall not sucessful.

This is a thread following the thread in forums.virtualbox.org. link:VirtualBox does not install, uninstall and repair - virtualbox.orgI accidently installed virtualbox in E: Drive. but when I uninstalled virtualbox, the files were still in the E: Drive.When I try to open the installer, it gives me 2 options, uninstall or repair. I tried both of them. it does 'rolling back action:' and gives me a fatal error.I need to install Virtualbox again in my pcplease help me out.I was asked to post my issue here, as it is Microsoft's MSI database having the problem.the logs: https://drive.google.com/fil

Hello,

The system finds VirtualBox and suggests to uninstall it manually, to run the update, but I am unable to find any app/program containing it. It's not shown in the Uninstall or Change the Program list. I do not have any Oracle installed on my PC either.

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

 

[SOLVED] Can not uninstall VirtualBox assistance needed

I have attempted to uninstall VirtualBox 6.1.10 several times now, using the windows uninstaller AND using the remove option in the VirtualBox installation wizard. I have not had success with either.

The installation wizard progresses through for a bit then suddenly the progress bar reverses itself and then indicates that files WERE NOT uninstalled then an alert box appears indicating an error occurred.

I did seek assistance on the VB community forum, and posted the MSI log file, but they see errors in the log file but don't know why and suggested I reach out here to see if MS might have a solution.

I am trying to uninstall this 6.1.10 version so I can successfully update to the most current version for security.
