Windows 10: Virtualization enabled but not working

This just started happening after a restart last night I tried uninstalling all updates from the past week to no avail. Any application that requires hardware virtualization no longer works Such as Google Play Games Beta.Things I have tried:Restoring from a previous point none far back enough to reverse the damage due to how I had it setEnabling VT in bios, already enabledDisabling hypervisor / hyperx via system32 cmd:bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype offAlso triedbcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype autoDisabled Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor Platform in "Turn Windows

How to enable Virtualization on Windows 11?

Hello Pay, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

As Virtualization is already enabled in the Bios I suggest you try the following;

Access the Control Panel and click on Uninstall a program;

Click on Turn Windows features on or off in the left menu;

Enable Hyper-V in the list of features and click OK to install;

Now the virtualization should work;

HAV says virtualization disabled, I have enabled it in BIOS


I followed the steps listed, but when I started genymotion again after resarting my computer, I still got the error telling me the number of cpus had been forced to one because virtualization isn't enabled. Also, the detection tool now tells me it doesn't work for my os.
