    Virus And Spyware Definitions Update Issue


    I am trying to update the virus and spyware definitions of my Dad's laptop but it is stuck at a particular point. It reads that it is downloading but has not moved from the point where it is currently in. Please, I would appreciate any help I can get, thank you.

    I have same problem when trying to update Defender.

    Keep getting the message "Virus and spyware definitions couldn't be updated"

    Updation of Virus & Spyware definitions

    Virus & Spyware definitions didn't update because of an internet or connectivity problem.

    It is showing when I am going to update Virus & Spyware definitions. But there is no problem of connectivity or Internet. Real time protection is on & unable to update Virus & Spyware definitions.

    Please guide to resolve the problem.
