    Virus Block computer problem


    The virus says that the laptop is blocked and they need money to fix it. The camera is showing a picture of me live. When I try to go to safe mode the virus exits and reboot the computer. In normal mode the computer apps run in the background but you can not view or engage with them because the virus screen won't let you. So all that I can do is look at the virus screen until I force the computer to shut down and then i can the the apps in the background as they close.

    i think me computer has a virus when i start it up there are no short cuts or task bar( thing with the start button) any suggestions on how to fix it? thanxs

    Problem with Anti-Virus/Firewall settings?

    I just set all the settings so that ActiveX controls will run.. unfortunately that didn't do it. I don't understand why everything is getting blocked!

    Thanks for the suggestions though. Is there anything else I should check for? If not.. I don't know what to do. Maybe I have a virus or something on my computer?
