Windows 10: "Virus detected" windows notification

I have received a notification, apparently through Windows, that my computer has viruses. See the image below. I immediately ran scans with Adaware and Malwarebytes. Adaware came up with nothing. Malwarebytes found 6 items and quarantined them. I shut down the PC and started it again. After about 10 minutes the message popped up again. Reran scans, nothing detected. I am concerned that these notifications are themselves phishing/malware. Can I get some verification that they are legitimate and safe to click on?

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

• 
  Open Settings.
  
• 
  Click on System and click on Notifications and Actions.
  
• 
  Under Show notifications for these apps turn off the setting for Windows defender.

windows 10 shows Virus notification, but nothing gets detected

windows 10 shows that it has detected a virus and when I open the windows defender, it doesnt show up anything and tells everything is fine. even after hours of scanning, nothing gets detected.

The Virus notification persists even after a windows insider update, which is of more than 4GB.
