    Virus reported by McAfee and Norton but Windows Security scan says my system is clean ?????


    I am using Microsoft Windows 11. After I clicked on an old link in my browser MS Edge I started to get popup notifications from Norton and AcAfee that I had a virus on my computer called "561a6pma4vcdudzeda.lwork.co.in." [This is strange because I have never had a McAfee subscription and I cancelled Norton two years ago. Neither of these AV apps shows up in my Add/Remove Programs. ] After I got the McAfee/Norton notifications, I ran Windows security. I checked for the latest updates and then ran a quick scan. It said no threats had been found. I did a search for "561a6pma4vcdudzeda.lwork

    Please confirm you don't have a list like this:

    Yes that's exactly what I have. If you notice there is an uninstall option next to organize if you scroll to other updates ie. office, but it will disappear once you scroll to the latest updates.
