Windows 10: Virus spreading over Wi-Fi!?

Discus and support Virus spreading over Wi-Fi!? in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I've run all the scans, looks fine to me, nothing has been identified as Malicious. Will my method work too? What do I do now? Discussion in 'AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security' started by MSMPlayz, Dec 24, 2015.

  2. So what makes you think there is a problem?

Infections, obviously. Umm, my Dad with very little knowledge of using devices and antiviruses (Applies to my sister, mum and brother too). We also have like 2 devices each which means double infections!

  4. Virus spreading over Wi-Fi!?

Hi I have altogether 8 devices all on Wi-Fi and all have Antiviruses installed and Antimalware and not one has become infected.
So my suggestion is scan and make sure all bug free, keep all Antiviruses and Antimalware updated and you should be ok,

Pardon me to press the issue of " So what makes you think there is a problem? "

Why do you think there is infection ?
You have proof for that ?
Did any of your AV ( Avast and Malwarebytes) catch any viruses while scanning ?

As I have previously explained, the Anti-Virus softwares have not caught any Viruses*Smile, that is good. I have previously asked, will my method explained in a previous post work/be good enough?
    Kind Regards,

    Virus spreading over Wi-Fi!?

Hello? Why is no-body replying? And in addition, does an ".exe" require Administrative Permissions to activate a Virus in to action.

Ok, I've looked at all the answers, regardless of that - they don't have anything to do with the method I thought up of so please go to the top of page 2 and tell me if that method would work.

I don't know enough about that command but I don't think erasing a harddrive will get rid of the problem.

Yeah, thanks, that was what I was looking for, someone finally gave me an answer! By the way, that command basically erases the whole hard drive. Problem solved*Smile

    Virus spreading over Wi-Fi!?

If you clear your harddrive, you will have to reinstall from scratch.
