Windows 10: Visio files .vsdx are not indexing properly in windows 11

While searching .VSDX files in Windows 11 with Visio 2016 pro it is showing as an open file location in browser instead of an open file locationThe issue is only with .VSDX files and all other files are behaving properly.

Windows 11: VSDX files do not show in Recent files in the file explorer's Home

The Home tab in the file explorer has a Recent Files list that included my .VSDX Visio files. After upgrade to Windows 11 these files are no longer in the list. I have added them to My Favorites to bypass this inconvenience but now I have to do that with every Visio file that I use often. I am using Windows 11 Enterprise 22H2 build 22621.2428

 

Shortcut to print without opening Visio File (VSDX extension)?

Since, without opening file, I can print VSDX file by following steps:

1. open file with Internet Explorer
   
2. get Internet Explorer to print.
   

Is there a shortcut ? My wish to have:

1. right click file with VSDX extension and print just like Office documents?
   
2. VBS using COM
   
3. Powershell script

TQ for support. I have ordered Visio Viewer as per your advise. However, my task is to print Visio files and am interested in following Document Properties which come with Office files.

1. Last Print
   
2. Author
   
3. Last Modified by
   
4. Full FileName
   

Engineering experience prompt me to be concerned with above information but how does typical engineer deal with not having above Document Properties in VSDX files ? Am I missing sth here?
