Windows 10: Vista Text Recognition?

I am using Vista. I have a large document with text in it, but it was scanned in from a scanner. Is there a way for me to scan the document to recognize text? Right now, it is not picking up the words as text.

I would suggest you to follow the steps to see Advance speech options.

• Press Windows+X key on the keyboard
• Click on control panel
• Select speech recognition
• On the left hand pane you will see Advance speech option

Facial recognition

Hello Bill,

We need to do further investigation on your concern so that we will know why the facial recognition quit working:

• Have you recently made any changes/updates prior to this issue?
• Is there an error message when you try to sign using facial recognition?
• What is the make and model of your computer?

Vista Speech Recognition Flaw

This is hilarious! Can't imagine that Vista programmers were so short sighted. Easily solved with a patch. No speech recognition (command recognition) if SOUND OUT (no mic when playing). Easy to implement.
