    Hey Microsoft Community, I have an app with a login name, email, and password form and since it's hard to keep track of how many users are using the app, I want to know if it's possible and how to connect my Visual Basic application to an online database where I can access it. The app is made in Visual Basic 2010 Express Edition and I would need some advice on how to do this database + some good online, 24/7 database hosting services. Searched all over youtube but looks like an open desert with no answers. Sorry about the category choice, couldn't find the one for my problem.Thanks for read

    Visual Basic, Can't open SQL ADODB database

    I have Windows10 and Visual Studio 2015 free version. I am having an SQL problem. I have created an SQL database

    with tables with server 2016 but am unable to get VB to open an ADODB database using any connection string.

    The server name is MSSQLLocalDB and the database is connected . The same database is working with visual basic 2008 and sql server 2005 Express. I'm thinking that I need the Express version of any other server instead of the LocalDB version.

    I mostly get this message: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

    I have error when to connect visual studio and database , I tried two windows 10 and 7 but does not solve the problem, its after I search for Google and YouTube could not find , two time reinstall Windows 10, 7, same problem
