Windows 10: Visual C++ 2015-2019

So I have had some issues lately maybe even through the past year, whenever I installed a program like Obs Studio and others it said I didn't have one of the redistributables, or something close to that, I'm nervous about uninstalling the 2015-2019 Visual C++ Redistributable and reinstalling it, I have heard on YouTube that it can be dangerous and that 3rd party programs would not work without the Vc Redist, I'm wondering if it is actually dangerous and if I should reinstall it. here are some images of this issue.

Visual C++ 2015-2019 x64 failure to install

My name is Jon and I am an independent technical adviser. Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues and I would really like to help you find a resolution.

This isn't a problem with the Visual C++ 2015 - 2019 redistributable that you are trying to install. There is a Visual C++ 2015 redistributable already installed and the problem is with that.

The version of the redistributable that you are trying to install is trying to remove the old version of the Visual C++ redistributable, and this is failing.

To remove this redistributable, you must obtain a copy of the Visual C++ 2015 version 14.0.24215 and use that to remove the redistributable. It must be this exact version. Once you have done that then the Visual C++ 2015 - 2019 will install.

Visual C++ 2015-2019 x64 failure to install

I've been trying to install Visual C++ 2015-2019 x64 for some time now but every time I try no matter what I do I get the error the older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 x64 minimum runtime 14.24.28127 can not be removed

I also get told that it can't find the path to vc_runtimeMinimum_x64.msi again this is for visual c++ 2019 x64 part.

 

Unable to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86) - 14.27.29112

I tried both solutions - installing and running the Install and Uninstall troubleshooter, and deleting the related keys in the registry.

When running the troubleshooter, Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 were not visible on the list of programs. However, Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 and below was.

When going into the registry, none of the files located in that directory could be found when searching "C++ 2019 x86 Minimum Runtime - 14.27.29112".
However, searching "14.27.29112" yielded some keys, which were deleted. The computer was restarted afterwards. Still, when attempting to install the latest Visual C++ 14.27.29112, the same error is given.
