Windows 10: Visual C++ runtime error on steam games the last descendant and chained together on windows 11

Hi! I have this issue with MV C++ on the steam games mentioned. I tried to read on old threads which didnt really help.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling these games and updating drivers and such to no avail and ended up asking for a refund for one of these games instead. this sucks since this means I cant play with friends.my specs arerocessor IntelR CoreTM i7-10870H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB 15.8 GB usable Device ID 757E9549-4633-4F93-BD9A-81DCD259A457 Product ID 00325-82203-86088-AAOEM System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Edition Wind

Microsoft visual c++ 2015 error when running steam games

When i launch a steam game that needs to install visual c++ i get this error



If i hit ok i get this error



Ive gone through my program list and uninstalled all of the microsoft visual C++ programs listed, and reinstalled them but i still get the error.

Does the issue occur mostly when you are working on windows explorer window?

This type of error is usually related to damaged C++ components installed. Download and install the latest Visual C++ runtime. Locate and then remove the existing Visual C++ installation. To do this, follow these steps:

Step 1:

1. Press Windows key + X, click on
control panel.

2. Go to Programs and Features.

3. Locate
Microsoft Visual C++ in the list of installed programs.

4. Click
Microsoft Visual C++, and then click Uninstall.



Note: If you cannot find Microsoft Visual C++ in the installed programs list, go to step 2

Step 2: Follow the steps to remove the software.

Download and then install the latest Visual C++ runtime. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Visit the following Microsoft Web site: Download Drivers & Updates for Microsoft, Windows and more - Microsoft Download Center

2. Download latest Visual C++

3. Make sure that the computer is installed with all the latest hardware drivers
