    Visual Studio 2019 versioning software


    Hello,We are currently using TortoiseSVN to track our file versioning. We have been having problems with users committing their work and others working on the same file and causing a big mess. I know this is on the users, but I'm trying to find an alternative like we had with visual source safe. Is there software available that acts the same way where when a file is checked out it is locked till the editing user checks it back in? This way files won't be overwritten. This will be running on windows 11.Thank you for any help
