Windows 10: Visual volume slider only shows the default playback device's volume

When I change the volume for my headset using its hardware slider its volume is changed as expected, but the visual volume slider shows the current volume of my default playback device, which is not my headset.I use Voicemeeter Banana so setting my headset to be the default playback device is not an option.Is there anything I can do to make windows show me the volume of the device that I am actually changing and not just the default one?

Volume slider not working on Windows 11

Hi, I'm having this problem in which the volume slider nor the hotkeys work on increasing or decreasing the volume. The visual slider works but the volume of the PC remains static. The only way to increase/decrease it is by altering the volume in the application i'm using (YouTube, Spotify, ecc). I've already tried restarting the service, windows explorer (found the same question from another user but trying the suggestions that were givven to him didn't work). Anyone knows how to fix this problem? Thanks!

 

Volume slider (in tray) shows only one device

I am using two displays simultaneously:

1. Laptop display (for Internet browsing and Skype calls)

2. HDMI connected TV for watching videos

Sometimes my son wants to watch some cartoons while I am making a Skype phone call. Lets say my phone rings now: I want to decrease the volume of the cartoons on the TV and mute the Skype call fast.

In windows 8 I could easily adjust the volume of both displays by clicking the tray icon - I had 2 volume sliders - one for every device, it was very practical.

After the upgrade to Windows 10 I only get one slider - the one for the default device, to change the volume I need to open Volume Mixer, pick the device and adjust/mute there. It is getting annoying.

Now my question:

Is it a missing feature or is it possible to change it somewhere in the settings so that I can get all the volume sliders at the same time?

so, to clarify... the VoiceMeeter app shows (highlighted in pink) the 2 Dell speakers and (highlighted in red) the 1 output to control both in unison. The volume sliders on allow me to control all 3 (each speaker and the voicemeeter) from the old volume tasktray flyout. what i would like to do is link the 3 on the flyout so that i can move one and turn the volume up or down for all (as this will control it for all pc sounds and apps... is this possible via a reg hack or anything of the sort? or does anyone know of a program to control multiple audio output devices simultaneously?
