Windows 10: VLC Icon in Files Explorer

Hi! A while back I was messing around in settings and have somehow changed all video icons to the vlc player logo. I am not 100% sure how I did this. All I can remember is something about enabling a performance mode in settings, but I am unsure as to whether that is related. I would like the icons for each .mp4 file to change back to an image preview of each clip. Please ignore the .sfk files, I am importing the footage into sony vegas but I can't remember which file is which hence the question. Thank you!

Cannot find Desktop Icon in File Explorer

Now that is interesting. If I do what you suggest, File Explorer Address bar changes to C:\Users\username\documents and the missing ICONS are there. But there is still not a "Desktop" folder.

Is this a step in the right direction?

• Click the Start Menu.
• Right-click File Explorer.
• Choose Pin to taskbar.

File Explorer not showing Extra large icons

Hi,

The icons might be set to appear in medium or small icons. For you to get extra large icons, follow these steps:

• Open File Explorer.
• Right-click in an empty space and navigate to View > Extra large icons.
