    VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd:///D:/ windows 10.... dvd rom tries to play 4 times and then cycles out.


    Have tried everything.. remove reinstall vlc, r &r drivers, r&r cd/dvd rom, firewall, registry, default, vlc properties, cd/dvd properties...


    any help?

    VLC doesn't work

    When I started using this computer, it had Windows 8.1. DVD player worked great. Installed Windows 10 and DVD player stopped working. I uninstalled Windows 10 and tried again. DVD player won't work. I refreshed the computer to factory setting, which
    was Windows 8. DVD player not working. Installed Windows 10 again. DVD player doesn't work. Installed VLC, received message "VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd:///E:/'. Check the log for details.". Read a few things online
    and took suggestion to uninstall and then reinstall VLC--still same message and still no DVD playing. I am not real savvy with this, but I am completely frustrate. Anyone?
