    IE 11- The "Select a Certificate" pop-up

    Hi there.

    No updates besides automatic W10.

Spent hours in the web trying to find a reason.

    Pls see attached:

Used to have something similar to Chrome.

Now I have to pull it up, click on More Choices and then select the certificate.

Starting to use Chrome because of this.

But I am an IE guy.

    Hope you can help.

    Thanks in advance

    IE 11- The "Select a Certificate" pop-up

    Hi.

Did the ''Select a Certificate'' popup changed?

Used to have all my 4 certificates shown.

Now I have only one and have to select ''More Options'' to see the other .

Anything Ia can do to go back to previous popup?

    Thanks

A VM or Virtual Machine, is a computer that runs on a host machine or server. Think of a VM as a computer inside a computer, it shares the resources of the host machine, but is a separate machine inside one operating system.

You can easily create a Linux VM on Windows with free VM tools and be up and running with Linux in a matter of minutes.

    Hey cmmpro1,
I like VirtualBox, I think it's the easiest to use and it's free. Download and install VirtualBox > create your VM > Insert your Linux Mint CD or point your VM's CD drive to the Linux Mint ISO (.iso) that you downloaded > Start the the VM and it will run Linux Mint in live mode. On the Linux Mint Desktop is CD Icon to install it in the VM ... that's basically it.

You want Windows Host - Downloads – Oracle VM VirtualBox

Here's my current VirtualBox with 3 VM's *Smile

    VM

    Sure, you can *Smile

I've been using VirtualBox for awhile, so I'm use to it. Obviously, there will be a learning curve for you, but it shouldn't be to bad. This is a VirtualBox VM (2 procs, 2 gb ram, 10 gb hdd), that I just setup using the Linux Mint Cinnamon ISO and the Linux Mint Desktop with CD Icon (Install Now)

Note: The number of procs, ram, hdd size, etc depends on the PC you're installing VirtualBox on.
Note: Remember running the Live CD is only for checking out Linux Mint ... anything you do will NOT be saved.

Thank you for your help. I am going to install tonight. I might as well install Linux on the computer too. It will be on a dell. Only hang up I have with that computer is that it is a much older box and its somewhat slow. BTW, Does Linux boot faster than MS?

I'm with you on that one as I don't care for it either. I use VMWare though since it's what I learned first and I'm too lazy to learn VirtualBox *Smile

Straight up Linux vs Windows on the same pc/specs ... yea it's faster, IMHO. Like I said in Virtual Box VM it's really going to depend on the PC.

    Yes, the Windows Host one.
