Windows 10: Voice Access recognizes "Press F4" as "Press F-4."

Hi,Ever since I updated to Moment 3 for Windows 11, I had a problem with both Voice Access and Speech Recognition. For example, when I say "Press Alt F4," both programs misunderstand what I said as "Press Alt F-4." F4 with a hyphen in the middle It won't work because there is no such key as F-4. What should I do about this frustrating error? Any assistance would be appreciated.Sincerely,JayBurch1

Voice access F-4 instead of F4

Hello,

I have a problem with Voice Access. Every time I say, "Press Alt F4," instead it recognizes, "Press Alt F-4." But there is no F-4 key, and this problem only affects that exact key. I tried updating drivers, scanning the PC through SFC, and resetting the PC. But nothing worked. It worked on other versions of Windows 11, but not on Moment 3. It's driving me insane. Can someone, anyone find me or redirect me to a way to fix this problem? Thank you very much.

Voice access F-4 instead of F4

The clock has nothing to do with my problem. It only involves Voice Access on Windows 11, not the clock on the Taskbar.

 

Alt+F4 function happens by only pressing F4

I can see here that you cannot use the ALT+F4 as it's working without using ALT.

May I know when did the issue start? Is there any changes made?

Which version of Windows are you using? (Please press Windows key+R and type winver and hit enter)

Please try to follow the steps below:

1. Please try to open the OnScreen keyboard and check if the issue is also happening from there.

Click Start Menu and type Onscreen and hit enter.

Click FN and press F4 to see if the issue persists.

2. Please press FN + ESC.

Check if the issue still persists.

3. Please press Windows key + X and choose device manager

Look for Keyboard option and expand it.

Please uninstall the driver and restart your device, that should be reinstalled after the reboot.

4. Please try to scan your device using Windows Defender

After that, check if the issue persists.

5. Check the if there's a pending Windows Update,

please install it and check if it fixed the issue.
