Hi,

I just tried to use the voice recorder and I'm having the same issue, blank screen with the message in red letters, no links, steps or any kind of info in how to provide the access to my documents folder to the voice recorder.

"Before you can record, we need access to your Documents Folder"

I am trying to access the Voice recorder in windows 10 for the first time since the upgrade to windows 10. The error message I get says that it needs to access my documents folder before I can record. I tried the different suggestions on Microsoft community
but none worked. I tried to update device automatically and manually and all devices are up to date. I tried Microsoft fix it but the trouble shooter is not compatible with my computer (Microsoft tech recommendation). I tried giving the user full access,
doesn't work. Any help will be appreciated.

2. Have you logged in as an admin on the system?

3. What are the troubleshooting steps you have performed on the system?

4. Does the issue occur when you create a new folder?
