    Voice recordings in Windows 10 only come out of left speaker


    I am using the built-in Voice Recorder app on Windows 10 to record something. But when I play it back, the audio only comes out of my left headphone, which hurts my ear and is overall very annoying.


    How can I fix this?

    Is it a problem with Windows or my headset?

    Is it a problem with my audio driver?


    I recorded it with my laptop's built-in microphone and it doesn't happen with that. What is going on here?

    Record my voice and sounds comes from speaker at the same time

    I recently purchased a laptop that has one audio jack (headset) instead of two jacks (one more Mic and one for Speaker)

    I want to record my voice for few seconds and then bring the Mic near the speaker and record sound coming from speaker for few more seconds and then continue recording my voice.

    With the new laptops seems like they added some setting which Mic wont record the sound comes from speaker. Even if I stick the Mic to the Speaker it wont record it and only record my voice or any other voice other than Speaker

    Is there any solution for this rather than buying another laptop with two jacks?

    I hope this is helpful...I access my voice recorder with the following steps: choose Applications under your menu - then Voice recorder (my Voice Recorder is listed there alphabetically) - under options choose Record Sound Clip (each sound clip is limited
    to 60 mins like sides of a tape) I found that I was able to record an entire weekend seminar in clips for each speaker and session.



    The only problem I am having is getting these sound clips to upload to my PC during the sync process.

    Windows Voice Recorder

    Since the last steps weren't able to uninstall the app, let's try the other options. Follow the steps below:

    • Type Settings using the Cortana or search box, then click the result.
    • Click System, then Apps & features on the left pane.
    • Scroll down and look for Voice Recorder, left click then select
      Uninstall.
    • Reinstall from the store afterward.
    Let us know how it goes.
