Edge vs Copilot vs Windows "Read aloud" / "Text to speech" settings are confusing

Based on your feedback, you've encountered issues with EDGE, Copilot, and Windows text-to-speech functionality.

In this situation, you can try the following steps to resolve the text-to-speech settings issue for Edge, Copilot, and Windows:

Change Edge browser's voice settings:

Open the Edge browser and go to settings.

Search for voice in settings, find the relevant options, and change it to your preferred voice.

Change Windows text-to-speech settings:

Go to Windows' voice settings.

There, you can change the system-wide voice and language settings, including the default text-to-speech voice.

Confirm Copilot's voice settings:

Open Copilot and look for options regarding voice settings.

Make sure to select the voice you like, you can try changing it to other available voices.

Identify the voice of the South African lady:

If you want to know who the South African lady's voice is, you can try searching for information on South African English text-to-speech synthesis.

Avoid duplicate readings:

Make sure not to enable Edge browser's text-to-speech functionality while using Copilot to avoid two voices trying to read the same text.

Missing Desktop Icon Text

Not sure what happen here. I have scanned this rig with Spybot, SuperAntiSpyware, Combofix, SmitfraudFix, Spyware Doctor, Spyware Terminator and have found nothing.

ImageShack - Best place for all of your image hosting and image sharing needs

as you can see in the pic, the icons are there but the text is missing. I can click on some of the icons, but other ones I click and nothing happens. Has anyone ever seen this before?
