Windows 10: Voice typing not responding in other languages.

Voice typing only works in English.please help me!

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Type settings in the search box.
• Click on time and language.
• Click on region and language.
• Click on add a language.
• Select the particular language and then make it as default by right clicking on the language and click on as default.

I cannot set up cortana - stuck at voice language setting

Before I can provide you any assistance with regards to your issue, I would like you to answer the questions stated below:

• What happens when you type in something in the search box instead of using voice commands on Cortana?
• Have you tried setting up a test reminder and check if Cortana responds back to you?

Method 1: As a suggestion you can change the installed Windows Display Language by switching back to the original language installed.

• Go to Settings > Time & language >Region & language.
• Under Languages, click on original Language (Country) that shipped with your OS.
• Click set as default.
• Sign out and back in for the new setting to take effect.

Method 2: I suggest you to perform
System File Checker (sfc) scan.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

As this issue seems to be the language settings, I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps:

• Press Windows key, type
  language and select Language.
• Click on the language French, and click on
  Move up.
• Restart and check if you were able to see French language in the System tray at right bottom corner in the desktop.
