voicemeteer banana audio cables preventing my pc to sleep

I recently downloaded voicemeteer banana and everything was working fine until i decided to also get 2 additional virtual cables. After installing the 2 cable, i realized that my pc will not go to sleep automatically and will just turn the monitors off. I have tried a wide range of possible solutions from messing with the power settings in control manager to trying to request override the audio cables devices in the command prompt to messing around in the registry editor and nothing seems to have made any difference. Ive been trying to find a fix for a while but everything i try hasnt been wor

VoiceMeter Banana, Audio Possible Interfering With Applications

So I love using VoiceMeter Banana to regulate my audio channels so that I can tune my sound to what I want to hear. The issue is that I am having a myriad of issues with other applications I.E. Steam, Steam Link, OBS, and my Windows Audio Panel. As well as audio not being detected unless I refresh the VoiceMeter.

    Windows Playback Devices :

    • I am proactive and move around a lot with my tower. I have different cords getting added and subtracted. Different audio devices automatically take control of my "Default Device" controls when they get plugged in when I already have the default set and it's getting to be to much. Is there a way to stop the auto take over?
    • I have been disabling devices in the Sound panel but they just make a new slot if reconnected to the computer. Is there a fix for this?

    OBS :

I would like to use Voice Meter to Stream but it may be interfering with the audio channels. I go into more detail and have images on this :Here:

So when I start my computer, I open Voice Meter, then open all my other programs including OBS. Some times audio in not picked up by OBS, or it is. On restart I get a random issue that I cant fix without a full restart then something else is broken.

I have completely wiped my computer, three times over the past 2 years of using Voice Meter and OBS. This issue has always been there and the reason for me not steaming ever. I really don't want to ignore it any more.

    • I have this setup for Voice Meter :

    imgur.com

    • OBS :

    imgur.com

    • I have 5 Virtual Audio cables :

    VB-Audio Port : Mic
VB-Audio Cable A : People (Discord, Teamspeak, ect...)
VB-Audio Cable B : Game Audio that can be set in game
VAIO : Music (Spotify using Equalify)
AUX : Defualt audio inputs (Windows and any other program)
    A1 & A2 goes to my headset
A3 : VB-Audio Port (Going to any app that needs a mic input)

Discord and OBS both have the issue were they can't detect an audio input. What could be the issue?

I also sent an email to Vincent (Voice Meter Guy)

    Steam :

    • Steam does not detect my audio output for the virtual cable and can't be set up manually for some reason is there a work around?

    Steam Link :

    • Just got my Steam Link in yesterday and I am having a lot of fun be able to use my computer in different locations with out having to move it into the living room. But I am having issues with my audio channels relating to it. I can't seem to have the correct sounds go to the TV and have my mic transmit back to the PC. I will provide more information if needed.

  3. Using Voicemeeter Banana with Spotify Issued

For the past few days, I have been using a virtual audio mixer, Voicemeeter Banana along with a Virtual Audio cable to run audio for my computer. I have my Mic coming in an input to VM, and I have a chat app discord running through the virtual audio
cable so I can toggle my voice chat off of my stream. When I used spotify, it was able to play through voicemeeter banana without a problem, just last night spotify would not play, and gave an error on spotify saying "This track is unavailable, if you have
the file on your computer you can import it". I have the master output of my VM Banana mixer set to the Realtek Speakers output that is the default for my headphones. No matter what I do Spotify will not play. I have uninstalled VM Banana, the Vitrual cable,
Spotify and uninstalled/reinstalled my audio drivers multiple times with no luck. Any ideas on why this might be happening?

    PC Specs:

    CPU: Intel - Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Corsair - H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

    Motherboard: Gigabyte - GA-Z270X-Gaming K5 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

    Memory: Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory

    Storage: Crucial - MX300 275GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Storage: Western Digital - BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB FTW2 Gaming iCX Video Card

Case: Corsair - Carbide 400C ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply: Corsair - RMx 750W 80 Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Home Full 64-bit

I have installed Spotify, Voicemeeter Banana, Virtual Audio Cable, my audio drivers and reinstalled them all. I also tried to use a 3rd party program to
voice Spotify to use the Realtek Speaker output and It would just show an error message and freeze voicemeeter banana. When I don't use banana, all computer audio runs fine with no issue.

PC won't sleep while playing a sound (audio driver prevent from sleep)

Go to Control panel /and search for Power options. Select Advanced and then Change when computer sleeps. Scroll down to media settings and uncheck option "prevent sleep when sharing media" ... Names could not be exact, but you'll find them.

Also, there is fine tutorial about preventing devices to wake computer or go to sleep..
