    Hi, I have a Supermicro Storage device under Window 10. I have a 250go SSD for the OS and two spanned NFTS volumes of 18 X 14tb drives, so basically 2 volumes of 252TB each. They were working perfectly and they were pretty full with data. I decided to try Ubuntu and installed the OS instead of Windows on the 250gb SSD. I was able to see the drives in Ubuntu and mount them but the size information of the volume was incorrect, it was showing 14tb for each volume and no free space so I decided to revert to Windows. Now on windows I have the same issue, windows does see all the disks but the spann

    Hi Johan,

    It is possible that your
    HDD was unreadable
    causing the error message to appear. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting steps and check if there are any changes:


    • Shutdown
      your
      PC.

    • Unhooked
      the
      HDD
      and
      turn on
      your
      PC.

    • Reconnect
      your
      HDD
      and
      restart
      your
      PC.

    If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
    laptop/computer's manufacturer
    for further assistance.

    HDD Corrupt ?

    Hi,

    There are many possible reasons this issue is happening. We'd like to ask few questions below:

    • What is the brand name of you Hard Disk Drive?
    • How old is the HDD?
    Since you already tried multiple troubleshooting steps, we suggest visiting the manufacturer's website. Find and download a hard drive diagnostic software to help resolve the issue.
