Windows 10: Volume and Screen brightness scroll bar ghosting

How to get rid of the scroll bars for Volume and Screen brightness that randomly flashes just above the task bar at the center position of MY ASUS laptop screen sans manual intervention?

Brightness scroll bar doesn't adjust the brightness of the screen.

The software is windows 10.

After the update, the brightness of my pc screen cannot be adjusted by the brightness scroll bar.

I have tried other methods such as adjustment through the power setting>advanced>display, however the brightness option is not there.

Restarting the computer does not resolve the issue either, disabling and enabling the hardware does not work either.

 

Volume and brightness bar on top left of screen missing

Normally, whenever I adjust the brightness or volume on my laptop, a bar indicating the volume or brightness level appears in the top left. Just today the bar in the top left no longer appears when adjusting volume or brightness. Can someone pls help so
that the bar appears again when i adjust volume or brightness?

 

TPU review scroll bar

I was wondering if there was any specific reason the buttons to scroll down the list of reviews was stuck in the bottom left-hand corner? Whenever I want to read reviews, I always have to move my cursor and aim it at a small arrow that scrolls the reviews... I'd suggest that instead of making the arrows small and in a corner, it would be better placed to the sides of the review bar.
