Windows 10: Volume auto increase troubles.

So the other day I bought a JLAB talk microphone and Razer Kraken Tournament Edition headset to replace my older stuff.

I plugged both devices in, got the razer drivers installed and everything. Both devices work just fine.

Later that night after setting it up, the widget for volume popped up and would not go away. I opened the volume mixer, and no matter what audio device I used it would automatically increase to 100 after I try to reduce volume.

I tried plugging into different USB ports, audio troubleshooter, and have combed through the control panel for at least an hour looking for something to address this. Google hasn't helped either.

Has anyone experienced this? Is it the microphone or headset doing this? What is a good permanent fix?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

At the grand old age of 50, I have purchased my first mobile phone. I often wish the volume of the earpiece was louder--if there is too much ambient noise I have trouble making out what the caller is saying. I can figure out how to increase the ringtone
volume and how to turn on the loudspeaker, but not how to increase the volume of incoming calls. Can anyone help?

• Does this issue occur while using a particular program/browser? If yes, which is the
  program/browser?
• When you say sound increases while watching a new video, does it mean that the Volume Mixer automatically increases the volume from 10%?
