Windows 10: Volume control bar shown up on the screen

Can't get rid of the box in the picture from my desktop, it always on top and gets in the way of everything!

The issue with volume control could have happened due to the corrupted or outdated driver. To resolve your issue, we suggest that you follow the 2 methods below:

Method 1: Run the Audio Troubleshooter on the system.



Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. We would suggest you run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio



Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key+X, select Control panel.
• Change the view as an option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter

Method 2. Uninstall and reinstall the latest drivers from the manufacturer website.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.
• Right-click on the Sound card and click on Uninstall.
• Install the latest audio driver from the manufacturer website.

Problem With the Volume Control

Amen to AlexKven's comment. Re my Lumia 521:

• Not meaning to be unappreciative, but I find Moderator Vasile's ANSWER to be useless. My phone volume control also does not work even though the buttons activate up/down with numeric change in "volume" shown on the screen. What ever the volume numbers
  state, the volume stays the same: fully-loudest..
• Is there a way to solve this that you know? With so many customers having this same problem, surely the knowledgavble software engineers at Microsoft+Nokia must have a workaround!!

 

Volume control on screen for Grove app

Why is there no volume control on the screen for the grove app? I have to hit the side button and then the volume slide bar comes on the screen. A volume icon should be on the screen. Also, no volume appears on the notification bar. All you see is
rewind, forward and pause/play w/ the band and song being displayed. Again, you must hot the side bar first.....less touches would be better, IMHO.
