Windows 10: Volume down key - intervals jumping to 10 instead of 2

When I tap the volume down button, it's usually because I need to turn it down a bit. When I need to turn it way down, I hold the button down.


When I tap the volume button down 7 times, it turns down by 30 instead of 14 as I intended because it records the first five taps as two and the second two taps as 10.


I know you're try to help, but it's having the complete opposite effect. It's such as annoying behavior that I'm finally coming here to post this. This literally happens at least 10-20 times per week. Can you please stop trying to 'help' with strange unwanted functions and let people manage things how they want?

Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...

To address this concern, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to turn off the Jump Lists on Windows 10:

• Go to Start menu, search Settings, then press
  Enter.
• Click Personalization.
• Select Start.
• Turn off the Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or taskbar.

For us to better assist you with the taskbar Jump Lists issue, we'd like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made to the computer prior to this issue (e.g. Windows updates)?
  
• Does the issue also occur on other pinned apps/files?
  

In the meantime, we suggest to turn off/on Jump Lists in Settings. To do so, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + i to open Settings, then select
  Personalization.
• In the left pane, click Start.
  
• Turn Off then turn On Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on the Start or the taskbar.
