Windows 10: Volume icon gone from taskbar even tho set to ON in Settings

I have tried everything to get my sound icon back on my taskbar to no avail. I have clicked on the blank spot where it should be but nothing, I have changed the sound icon in settings hoping it would wake. All nothing. I did manage to get the grey driver update button to wake up, but it says I have the "best" driver on there. I did find an Event ID 20001 that I sent to you. on 4/3 7/18/38 AM under my sound driver even viewer it says 1. Device Migrated 2. Device configured (audioendpoint.inf) 3. Device started. Please help me find my audio icon, it's very important to me. Thank you. My Windows version is 10.0.17763.1 btw.

Volume icon missing from Taskbar

Taskbar volume control gone after Windows 10 update

Have you tried checking if the Volume icon on the Notifications & actions settings is turned on?

Here's how:

• Click on Start, then select Settings.
• Go to Notifications & actions.
• Click on Turn system icons on or off.
• Check if the Volume is On.

Volume button is invisible on taskbar.

You can customize which icons to appear on the taskbar. Based on the information you have provided it possible that the volume was not set to appear on the taskbar. To customize the taskbar notification area, you can refer to the steps below:

• On the Start menu, type Settings, and then hit Enter.
  
• Under Notification area, click Select which icons appear on the taskbar.
  
• Click Volume button to toggle it on or off.
