Volume Mixer settings automatically change back to 100% instead of what I left them at

Around 80% of my apps, I have to turn them down to a certain percentage so my ears don't get blasted however with some apps, I lower the percentage in volume mixer to around 10% but then when I launch the app next time it goes back to 100% and I have to re change it each time, is there some sort of fix for that?

    :)

  2. Is it possible to open the volume mixer instead of volume control

    Hello, Ten Forums!

I was wondering whether it were possible to open the volume mixer instead of the volume control when left-clicking on the volume icon in the tray. At the moment I have it set to open the old classic menu, but not the volume mixer.

    So, is it possible?

    Thanks.

I had made a post asking about this as well, before I noticed you already had a thread, let me know if you found anything useful. I am still searching.

Stop Sound Mixer from changing volume

The volume sound mixer doesn't change the volume itself, it just reflects the current state of the volume.

The program itself is what's changing the volume, and the sound mixer shows this.

The solution depends on what program is causing the volume to change. Some programs have automatic adjustment settings you can disable. What program is getting its volume changed?
