  1. Volume on Browser Fluctuates after Update with Weird Application Interaction

Now, that title is about half of what I'm having problems with right now. I have done a few tests and it is just so weird.

    1. I play a video (tried facebook, youtube, and vimeo) on a browser (tried Firefox and Chrome)
    2. The audio of the video is very low but the volume option on the video and the laptop are already at max.
    3. If i launch a different application and and I open it on top of the browser, the audio gets louder. If I minimize or bring the browser to the front of the overlaying app, the volume goes down again.
    4. I tried using spotify, steam, even netflix as the overlaying app and same thing happens.
    5. When I say the volume goes down, it doesn't necessarily go down as in the sliders are still at max, but that green indicator on the sound mixer increases and it is very noticeable.
    6. This is a browser only issue as other apps are still sounding ok.

I tried to revert the audio drivers but it's the same. I tried to look for solutions online but I couldn't find the words to search and define the issue, so I thought to ask for help here. I'm on a Lenovo L340.

Volume fluctuates. Using any music app, Pandora, Xbox Music, Spotify. Almost seems like adaptive speed volume malfunction.

  3. Weird Interactions

I haven't noticed the explorer.exe shutdown issue on any build.
Perhaps it is due to some weird interaction between W10 and some software you have installed (like the faulty context menu entry issue on other versions of Windows).

Apart from the Notification icon glitch on my W10TP b10041 VM, everything else seems to be working OK.
Although I still think that the desktop Window Snapping was better in b9841, I've figured out how to make it work for me.

My only other issues are basically cosmetic ones:
    • Twin Control Panels
    • The awful (full screen) Start Menu transparency
    • The horrible "All Apps" setup
    • The lack of Personalization adjustments to tame the diamond white theme
I'm seriously considering running LM17.1 more often, so that I can use the W10 VM more often too.
I've only installed a few programs, but they seem to be running properly.
It might be time to "up the ante". *Nerd

  4. Volume on Browser Fluctuates after Update with Weird Application Interaction

an application can not interact with a desktop

We use the IIS to build our website. In an aspx.cs program, we execute an application that is supposed to interact with a user. It turns out that the application can not interact with the user. We understand that the aspx.cs is runs inside "w3wp" process,
so is never given right to spawn process that is interactive with desktop. The following steps are provided by some web pages to solve this problem. However, these steps do not solve our problem. Can anyone tell us how to solve the problem?

    1. Right-click
My Computer and from the drop down menu click
    Manage
    .

    2. From the
Services and Applications menu, click Services.

    3. From the right scroll down menu, double-click
    Task Scheduler.

    4. Click the
Log On tab, select the Local System Account and
Allow Service to Interact with Desktop options, and then click
    Apply.

    5. Click the
    General tab, click Start.

which can be found in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/223170
