Volume on my Windows 10 tablet changes to 30% on startup/resume

It's really annoying, happens everytime it comes out of hibernation/etc. It's not related to the volume changing setting for VOIP as that's disabled.

How do I get this to stop?

Also, it gets the sleep of death, so I had to disable sleep and use hibernation instead. If anyone knows how to solve that issue too...

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Windows 10 volume is always defaulted to 36 and I can't change it

    Hi Ajinc,

It could be some outdated sound drivers or some audio enhancements that caused the issue you are experiencing with controlling your system volume. To narrow down such concern, we'd like to ask a few questions:

    • Which version and build of Windows 10 is currently installed on your computer? To check, click on the
      Start > Settings > System >
      About
      .
    • What are the troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far?
    • Were there any changes made on your computer settings prior to this issue?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you perform the steps listed here. Those are troubleshooting steps suitable for sound problems.

Update us if the steps above helped you in resolving your concern.
