Windows 10: Volume overlay not synced with volume menu on the bottom right corner

Recently, when I try and use the volume keys, the volume overlay comes up, but nothing changes. I want to set the volume to a specific value, but I can't do that unless I click the bottom right corner and change the volume by dragging the slider. My volume overlay will only stay at 100, and whenever I try and change it with the buttons, it still won't change. I haven't made any changes to my settings, so I don't know what to do. Is there any solution for this?

1. After opening the game, right click on the sound icon in the taskbar and select "open volume mixer".

2. If the particular game is listed, turn down the volume and check the result.

Windows volume & brightness overlay slider missing

I cannot see the volume slider overlay and brightness slider overlay on top left of screen when i press the designated buttons on my laptop keyboard.

Brightness and volume actions work but cannot see the overlay for some reason. even tried recent update of windows and restarting the services and even disabling the device in device manager.

Any help will be appreciated

Audio overlay popup when changing volume in Google Chrome

Whenever I'm changing the volume, I'm getting this screen overlay in top left corner having three circular audio buttons.

Even though no audio application is playing, it always shows up whenever I control the volume. What should I do to stop this popup forever? I know uninstalling chrome to zero will resolve this but is there a better way to get rid of this issue? This problems started coming since last 6-7 days. I didn't install any chrome extension. Neither did I install any new software on my machine.
