    Volume Slider not working on Win10 App "Movies and TV"


    Running build 18362.535.

    It seems after my latest update that the volume slider on the "movies and tv" just does not work. Any time I click on it it highlights a bit, and the pause button on the player loses its highlight for a few milliseconds.

    Regular WMP does not have this problem, nor my other audio apps.

    When playing the "movies and TV" app, the general volume adjuster on my corsair keyboard works fine as it does in all other apps.

    Any ideas what is going on?

    Movies & TV app not working properly.

    Hi,

    I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows Key.
    • Type Windows Powershell.
    • Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
    • Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.
    get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

    Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.

    How to reinstall Windows Movie & TV in Win10?

    Thought my Win10 upgrade from Win8.1 had gone without a hitch. However, today had a problem when trying to use Windows Movie & TV. When the Windows Movies & TV app icon is tapped, it just goes away without activating the program. On the Apps & features
    drop down menu, Movies & TV is listed, but the move and uninstall boxes are grayed out.

    How do I reinstall Windows Movie & TV in Win10?
