Windows 10: Volume turn up automatticaly to max level sometimes

Windows 10 maxes out volume sometimes

I got the same problem and installing new software is not helping. I got Asus T100HA notebook. My sound devices listed in the device manager are: Intel SST Audio Device (WDM) and Realtek I2S Audio Codec. As mentioned above, when watching youtube or a movie
on VLC, after hiting pause and play again, the volume is maxed out which is kinda unpleasent for ears especially when I am using headphones. Then /i quickly have to move volume buttons on the notebook to lower the volume. What is weird is that while usually
one click is 2% volume, it is always one click after this auto volume maxing to move the volmy back to my desired level like 12. So that may suggest that according to the volume indicator it is not maxed out and touching the buttons refreshs the setting. Either
way it is extremly annoying. Maybe we should sue somebody for hearing damage?

 

Seperate volume level for ringtones and notifications

Does anyone know if it is possible to control the volume levels of the ringtone and for example music you're listening to through the earplugs seperately?



I frequently use my Lumia 520 to listen to music and I have to turn the volume down to about 10 because else it would just be too loud.



The problem is, this also turns down the ringtone volume down to the same level, causing me to miss a lot of calls cause I just couldn't hear the phone.



So in short, is there a way to keep the ringtone and notifications at max. level when you lower the volume down for other purposed?

 

Win 10 / Max Speaker Volume Decreased

Ever since I installed the Win 10 upgrade, my speaker volume output is only about half or less than what it used to be. I cannot hear skype calls, music, movies, any sounds at the level they used to be at. I have turned all volume bars to max and still
can barely hear anything even at max volume.

Is there something I can do or do I just need to rollback to Win 8.1 until this is fixed?
