  1. Volume With Applications

Hi, so right now the volume for my applications are so weak. Even when I put my volume to the max in volume mixer for every game or application like spotify or google chrome, it's still very weak compared to before. I used to put it at 60% or 70% and it would still be loud. Now even 100% is too quiet for me. Is there a way to fix this?

    :)

  4. Volume With Applications

Volume changed when I switch to specfic application

    Hi _Tommy_WANG,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue where the volume settings in War Thunder (WT) are not being retained when switching between applications. This behavior is specific to War Thunder and does not occur with other applications. Here are a few suggestions to try and resolve this issue:

    1. Check in-game audio settings: Verify that there are no specific audio settings within the War Thunder game itself that could be causing this behavior. Look for any options related to volume control or automatic volume adjustment and make sure they are set appropriately.
    2. Update the game: Ensure that you have the latest version of War Thunder installed. Developers often release updates to address bugs and issues, including audio-related problems. Check for any available updates and install them.
    3. Check Windows sound settings: Open the Sound settings in Windows by right-clicking on the speaker icon in the system tray and selecting "Open Sound settings." Under the "Output" section, check if War Thunder has its own separate volume control. If so, adjust it to your desired level and see if it retains the setting when switching between applications.
    4. Disable exclusive mode: In the Sound settings, go to the "App volume and device preferences" section. Scroll down to find War Thunder in the list of apps. Click on it, and under "Output," toggle off the "Allow exclusive control of this device" option. This will prevent War Thunder from taking exclusive control over the volume settings.
    5. Reset audio settings: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting the audio settings for War Thunder. Open the Sound settings, go to the "App volume and device preferences" section, find War Thunder in the list of apps, and click on it. Then, click on the "Reset" button to reset the app's audio settings to their default values. This may help resolve any conflicting settings that are causing the issue.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, you may want to consider reaching out to the War Thunder support team for further assistance. They may have specific troubleshooting steps or insights to help resolve the volume issue you're experiencing in the game.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, if you have any questions, please feel free to leave us a message.

    Best regards
