Windows 10: VPN no longer working after windows update 2025

HiThe VPN service I downloaded and paid for no longer works on my windows computer... and I KNOW that it has nothing to do with either the service provider, my internet connection or the network, because the SAME vpn service works absolutely fine on my phone, connected to the same network. The vpn worked fine on my computer until December 2024, and now it doesn't, and I believe it's something to do with Window's most recent updates. I don't know what they keep doing with these updates, but goodness me for a while my game performance went WAY down due to one previous update, and now the VPN is
